Our director, Caroline Latta, joins Ruth Dale on the latest episode of the Brain Fuel podcast for a thoughtful and uplifting conversation about what real co-design looks like when you stop relying on surveys and start creating experiences.
The episode highlights a very special short breaks project where the Olovus team created experiences that helped families with learning disabilities explore what independence, joy and confidence can look like. Those visits created the kind of insight you never get from hypotheticals. You could see trust building and the whole frame shifting from “respite” to “a proper holiday”.
You can read more about this project here.
Caroline also speaks openly about her own experience with weight loss medication and how it strengthened her commitment to involvement that is non-judgemental, inclusive and grounded in people’s real lives. It is a personal story that connects directly to the values we bring to every project.
For a dose of straight talk on behaviour change, design and co-production, give it a listen. We (obviously) love it!
